TVR 3000S Side Curtain Window Latches for Glass
Discussion
Hi Gentlemen,
I am in the process of trying to restore my side curtains, and they are totally disassembled, and two of my window glass latches are damaged, and I asking if anyone out there knows from where and what these latches were originally manufactured for, cars, aircraft, marine craft, all the above, but made by who, and are they still around or can be salvaged off and any other vehicles or craft besides TVR's? I am looking for a front and rear latch, they are different for the front and rear glass. I have attached some photos of the latches.

Used on early Minis (with the sliding windows!)
This is where I got mine from, there must be similar places in the USA

Terminator, Thank you for the information, much appreciated. I was able to speak with Adrian, and ordered some new window latches, as well as some other restoration parts, in particular his new bonnet striker pin catch assembly. My current bonnet striker pins have stripped the thread on the pin itself, leaving the bonnet detached with the striker pin and spring still locked into the thimble catch. Not a happy situation, and I have already had minor bonnet damage repaired when it flew up and nosed into the pavement before I could stop the car. And not to mention seeing the spring and striker pin shoot four feet into the air when the bonnet release is engaged. One has to be a very good catch to be able to release the bonnet and scramble to catch the spring and striker pin before it lands on engine somewhere causing damage.
Hi Alan,
Thank you, yes I just ordered a several items from Adrian, I needed new window latches, curtain to door latches, frame gutters, as well as the cloth covered channel material for the window sliders. I also have stripped threads on my bonnet striker pins into the bonnet support plate, so new replacements for those as well. A new hood fabricated from an original one in for service at DG. Otherwise, I just purchased a "probe IV" multi-meter to trace down my electrical grounding issues which come and go like phantoms. A lot of Winter issues to try to clean up before this Spring's driving season begins. Here it is usually is snow safe in late April.
