WTB • 2500 Vixen Wheel Center Caps
Discussion
A Vixen shouldn't have T slots, it should have the 15inch finned alloys painted black with alloy rims.
These were fitted to Vixens, Tuscans and early M series cars.
These are 14inch T slots and were fitted to Ms from around 1974.
I assume it is the early discs you require, happy hunting as I don't think anyone has any though David Gerald might be worth a call. I found 3 when we moved house and stuck them on ebay, got about £26 which was far more than I was expecting.
Oliver.

I think you will find Adrian Venn has some always worth a try on anything M series if you want to stick to the T Slots the Fins though certainly look great on a Vixen in the same way the T Slots look better on the M series cars join the Adrian@ on Face book I believe they did a show me your TVR week or something recently there

Sorry that's what i meant were the fins, for some reason I always think of the T'slots when i think of TVR.
Sorry well this may help the original badges where just glued on the round hole and where one of the first thing to fall off and get lost I am told.In order to solve the issue some have bought a plastic wheel cap off another car that fits sprayed black and had a sticker made to stick on.
Classic Capsule on e bay make them to order and are very nice we took a different approach and milled alloy centre caps and added the sticker from classic capsule not OE but certainly solves the issue for something that was rather badly done originally

If you look carefully at the original emblems if you can find one you will see a straight glue line. This is because they were originally fitted to a terry tool clip which provided an interference fit into the wheel centre. Over the years most were lost since the terry tool clip wasn't constructed of sufficient strength spring steel and they tended to get lost. New emblems were supplied without any alternative clips.
There must be a vixen owner out there which an early car who has the original set up.

Araldite works (I use the cheap "gorilla" stuff from Wicks) really well...
Pops off with a gentle knock too as it doesn't permeate the paint.
This is obviously not as an elegant solution as Andrew has devised (beautifully) but if you're not changing tyres every month it shouldn't be a massive concern.
I know there a gent who (and I might have cocked this story up) warmed up some milk cartons and wedged them in the centre hole, then used a MASSIVE box spanner to make a nice hexagonal top, stuck a TVR badge on the top.
I think the answer to this is: do what you like which what you have as the Original Equipment is no longer available - but let us all know what you send up doing
