I wondered if someone caan confirm what Brake Servo can be fitted to 1975 1600M.
Is it Ford Fiesta or Triumph TR6.
Thanks in advance

My 77 Taimar had a TR6 Servo, a 75 car is very unlikely to have a Fiesta servo as the Fiesta wasn't launched until 1976!!!

thanks David,
so looks like TR6. The problem is one moment there is too much servo assistance, very light pedal and almost locks the wheels. Next moment no servo assistance at all.
Very strange and risky

Is there a kink in the vaccuum pipe? If not the diaphragm may have a tear but that could lead to rough running.
Mine filled with brake fluid after the master cylinder seals went and the first I knew of it was brake fluid on my shoes. The M/C didnt sound hollow when tapped as there was over a pint of brake fluid in it. Fitted a TR6 one fine and ignored the plunger gap recommendations as they didn't work out but it all works fine.
