71 2500 Vixen ?
Discussion
O ye of little faith!
It was not a scam, the guy was selling his late brother's car and didn't have a clue as to what it was.
The reason he listed it as a 2500 was that that was the handbook he had with the paperwork.
He works for a company in South Africa hence the email address and didn't realise he had missed a digit off his phone number.
I bought it by the way!

I would have bet money on that being a scam foreign email wrong description and a number missing from the phone number.
Chris
I know, It did look a bit suspicious, but when I emailed on Thursday morning he came straight back and gave me his phone number.
I had to move quickly though, he is going back to South Africa tomorrow!
I have wanted a Vixen for ages - my Dad and I used to look at them at the motor shows in the 70's and dream!
Just got to change the clutch on my S (being a bh!) then I will remove the body and finish the stripdown.
Be prepared for some bloody stupid questions!!
