Was there a M-series rally car in the past?

In the Netherlands they are planning to start with a Historic Retro Cup Holland. They will be a part of the National Rally scene.
I bought already my project car (1976 3000M), but there is 1 important issue. If you want to join the cup, the car has to be a replica of an rally car of the past. I don’t has to be a world famous car but you need pictures of this car to show the organisation that there was in the past an original rally car of yours.
So is there anyone with information about an M series rally car?
