Could anyone point me in the right direction to find a replacement dashboard air vent outlet for my 3000S please?
It looks a lot like a Ford part - but I haven't been able to find an exact equivalent yet....
Thanks

If it is the same as the other M's then I am sure it's triumph and tr6, I think I purchased one from rimmerbros, although Andrews one above looks identical if not the same.
Thanks DAKOTAstorm, our posts crossed! Rimmer Bros out of stock too, so I may try to pick up a cheap(ish) secondhand eBay item as a back stop.

In case it helps anyone, my memory tells me there were 3 different sizes of eyeball type vents of the time. Could be wrong on this, but reasonably sure this is right.
Large - Triumph mk2 Saloons (2000 & 2500) and Stag
Medium - TR6
Small - Rover P5 (and P6 ?)
and then later on, Cortina Mk4 had extra large ones.
And I think (but not sure) Vixens and M used the smallest two sizes.

That's really useful thanks. I'd better double check the size before ordering anything.Large - Triumph mk2 Saloons (2000 & 2500) and Stag

Mk 1 Cortina......Oh bloody hell, you are right.....yes, they DID, But now I remember they were moulded to fit the slight 'V' shape in dash panel and so would be useless for a flat panel .....Can't remember Cortina Mk2 .... or XJ6 ....

Got kindly given a freebie eye ball vent yesterday
A near perfect front and ball, but rear spigot had been sawn off. I decided to have a go at splitting the casing (using a razor saw). Here are the bits after a good clean.
This afternoon I picked up an ex TR6 vent for £3 on eBay. A tatty front, but the rear spigot is intact so hopefully it will be a marriage made in heaven.....
The plastic glues well with MEK, so presumably any polystyrene cement would work too.
