40 years in storage and looks like that's true from the website link photos. With 30k on the clock it would seem it had just 10 years of use and then put away.
I would think someone's very pleased with the purchase, and well done OP for spotting it as it was (correctly) listed as Griffith not TVR.

Looked more straightforward than many, not as cheap as some but a greater end result than most....It's the kind of car which will appear at Bonhams Goodwood auction in 10 years time unrestored and sell for the price of a house, and we will all be crying inside.....
