Are you after "bang on as original" or just a suitable replacement?

If the Ford item as above is correct TVR must have run an earth to one of the mounting screws as there isn't an earth tag (would earth through the body on a steel car)?

As far as I am aware this is original (1975) and wired "earth"..............I'm sure Adrian will be along shortly to advise

Sorry for the delay, I have two of these switches on my (left hand drive) drivers side door and the plastic plunger for the switch is black and rectangle in shape. Both are installed side by side. Now I have to trace to see if what is actually being switched if anything off the second unit. At a total loss what it would be if the second switch is active as well?

Thank you Adrian, you are absolutely right, it has those items and makes perfect sense. Adrian as a favor, I hope you are saving and achieving your answers to people's questions. It would be a tremendous loss of knowledge to just erase them. I prefer to hear directly from you, but future generations will not be so lucky. Please save them.
