indicator lens m series

Hi just discovered sidelight extra indicator lens ie the one attached to the front wing passenger side is missing...I am aware lots of tvr M parts are ford ones can anybody advise so I can hunt for a 2nd hand one? (3000M 1978)

Think they're US spec MGB if you mean the side repeaters Chris?

I'm sure the usual suspects can provide and they do appear on eBay.

Thanks Gary good to hear from you i toured e bay all about £10-15 quid and all look different... just rang D Geralds & surprisingly they still stock them and even more surprisingly aren't incredibly expensive. Chris

Thanks guys but for fears of being pulled over by Notts police ( & am already on 6 points!) I have just ordered the DG one...mine are definitely angular & not like the pics you kindly put up Adrian. Terminator if DG part being sent is wrong & i have to send back then am sure we can strike a deal.

Given Gadges point above out of curiosity I rang MG owners club this morning...yes usa repeater side lenses do fit tvr's yes they do stock 'em....... for half the price I paid DG yesterday! At 61 the phrase 'no fool like an old fool' springs to mind. Live & learn

I bought a set of four amber units for my 3000S at a British Car Show in the USA many years ago, and they are identical to the ones they replaced.

The guy said they were for an MGB and charged me $50 for the set. They have Lucas L824 on them, with the same SAE numbers as the old ones.

These are MGB ones on USA ebay as of now. Why are they different?

I think the earlier 'double square' ones are from a TR5 or TR6 export model ??? In case it saves anyone money ....
and I think there is more than one type of that one too ....
