"Sebring" Grantura
Discussion
It is two and a half years since I last saw mention of the "Sebring" Grantura that many will remember being marketed on eBay, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, for £250k. I had expected by now to have seen it at least pop out at the Goodwood Revival alongside the rarely seen "Le Mans" Grantura. But no.
Anyone have an idea what has happened to it? Complete rebuild so it can race again in anger? Or perhaps just a wealthy chap's trophy car/entry ticket? Hopefully the former and about to reappear racing against its peers.

It was bought, It was shipped back to england and it is still as far as I know still getting restored with a very exacting build so as not to destroy the original features that the car has.

Well, let's hope we see it out soon and being raced hard. Aside from the dark blue Mk3 that ran in the RAC Tourist Trophy race at the recent Silverstone Classic, there don't seem to be any 1622cc engined race Granturas out there for it to stand toe-to-toe with. But it would still be good to see it out there giving the other pre-63(-ish) small-engined cars a bit of fresh competition.N.

Last seen heading from the Docks to a restoration work shop in Essex yes would be interesting to see her back out but sometimes things take longer than expected Life funds all different factors come into play My Tuscan sat in a Workshop untouched for 15 years so don't hold you breath but certainly something to look forward to Anyone have an idea what has happened to it?
