Are they required on a vixen?? I have read somewhere that they are only required on cars manufactured after 1986…
Trying to keep the wiring as simple as possible.

Not required (mine doesn't have them and has never been called into question for lack thereof).

In the pedantic world of MOTs and car building regs I believe it is:

"Hazard warning devices are not required on vehicles first used before 1 April 1986, but if one is fitted it must be tested." and "first used" is generally accepted as first registered

Difficult getting the trafficators / semaphore indicators synchronised on the "older car"
