You'd expect so. Nothing but the best for a TVR. Port Out, Starboard Home.
Wait... if the UK is its new home and it's coming from the US then travelling 'POSH' would put it on the wrong side. That's no way to treat an important dignitary.Tvrsloth, re the size of a Bermuda Triangle, it's smaller thn a Tiffany Box but larger than a Brazilian.

Unless it was shipped as a kit and only became a car in the US?

I keep hearing reference to Kit cars ?????? Both here and the Pictures thread reference Griffiths Tvrsloth, re the size of a Bermuda Triangle, it's smaller thn a Tiffany Box but larger than a Brazilian.
All Production cars sent to the USA where sent as fully built cars although Griffiths went without engines and some trim and where finished at the Griffith Factory and some Tuscan V8s as well had the engine fitted there if not all why send a US V8 engine to the UK then send it back again in a car ????
Hence why I can never get it when the USA holds a TVR Show at a Kit Car show makes no sense.
Be good to see another come home

It stems domestically from a UK tax loophole firstly, that meant if you delivered the car with just enough bits to still be fitted by the owner then it could be sold under then kit car lower taxation. And as far as I'm aware, many cars like Tivs were shipped to the U.S. with specific parts to be installed domestically to again circumnavigate various taxes or legislations etc.
TVRs were never actually kit cars in the true sense. As for why an owner would take one to a lot car show and try and make out it was also a kit car, I've no idea. Something to take up with the owner I Guess.

Yes many UK car where sold as Kits leaving just enough for owners to do so it Qualified as a Kit to avoid Sales Tax however some dealers sold the kit and then charged the owner to finish the car from what I found when researching one of my cars. And as far as I'm aware, many cars like Tivs were shipped to the U.S. with specific parts to be installed domestically to again circumnavigate various taxes or legislations etc.

Export cars where not sold as kits however some models required emissions changes when they arrived but not kits.
Its actually the American TVRCCNA that at times have held there annual TVR get together at a kit car show.
