wheel spacers and few other things
Discussion
Greetings from the USA!!! Looking for advice. The car is a 1971 TVR Vixen 2500 (vixen body and frame TR6 motor).
The car came with mint stock wheels not on the car. Previous owner installed longer rear wheel studs and bought a set of TR6 aftermarket wheels. He is also using an alloy spacer behind the rear wheels (if not would rub rear bottom shock mounting points).
Question 1) - Would there be a problem to use the stock wheels with the spacers in the rear in place? Would it change the handling characteristics (for good or bad)?
Question 2) (unrelated to above) Would there be a benefit in fitting 7/8th anti sway bar on the front of this car? that TR6 motor weights a ton. Currently the stock bar is on the car. If there is a benefit what bar would fit? (spitfire? TR6? other?) i am not sure these were made by TVR and think they were pulled from other cars.
Question 3) (last one guys) if i wanted to change out the brake lines to braided stainless ones what lines would i be requiring. Where the brake lines unique to the Vixen 2500 or did they also come off another car such as a triumph?
Any one that can give me help it would be greatly appreciated. THere is not much knowledge regarding these cars on this side of the Atlantic.

1. how wide are the spacers? Unless they are massive any change in handling will be negligible (imho), could put a bit more strain on wheel bearings?
2. Don't know
3. make your own.... for example
Is there an easy way to see what kind of studs were used? Previous owner is no longer available to ask. (in general quality of work looks good). Is there a way to tell from looking at the hub? or the studs? I can send pictures if needed.
There is also a grease fitting on the rear hub. Is this stock? What sort of grease goes in it and how often.
Thank you for all the help.

OK got it. Will do! Thank you
Do you have thoughts on the grease fitting on rear hub? Is this stock? if it is what kind of service does it require? 3 pumps of grease every year? in looking at it I am scratching my head as to where the grease is forced out when you put some in?
thank you
