Help needed please. It seemed that my S2 was running a little on the cold side at 60c but having checked the sender unit in hot water, found out the gauge is reading 20c too low. I have cleaned all the electrical connections and earthing but the problem is still there. Is it possible to calibrate the AC gauge or is it likely I will need to replace the sender ?

Hi Adrian, yes I have changed to an alternator, all other gauges appear normal.

Would changing to an alternator account for my problem then ?

Hi Alan, looking at the wiring diagram in my Vixen owners manual there is no voltage stabiliser, power is coming direct from the fusebox so so assume it to be 12 volts.

My S2 Vixen has no voltage stabiliser in the gauge circuit but my AC temperature says I'm running on steam! Geoff

Well at least you're in a very low VED band.
