Can somebody confirm whether the original TVR factory made chassis was stamped/marked in any way? If so where would I find this on a Vixen? Thx

I do not know whether it's original, but my TVR Vixen has his number stamped in the front right shock tower.

Perhaps someone knows the rules.
Seen to many advices in this forum about this object.

The chassis number was normally stamped in the top rail near the front suspension pick-up point on the driver's side, if there's no stamp maybe the chassis has been replaced

Vixens to my mind never carried chassis numbers.. I think the practise started with the M series cars but the later production lilley era cars 2500M's etc for export may have been stamped!
