Does it suffer bump steer? just looking at the angle of the steering arm to track rod end.
I can report that it definitely doesn't bump steer (not on those blocks ) N.

I've got some on my M.
Got them from John Reid many moons ago, the caliper bracket is a bespoke cast Aluminium item, the rest is AP.

Looks like he is still flogging them.

... but whether it'd be enough to notice I don't know

Using my mental version of Colin Chapman's suspension "string computer", if you calculate the arcs that the upper, lower and steering arms would take on compression, it seems to me that the longer arc of the steering arm would make the front wheels toe-out under compression. So compressing just one side would toe that wheel out, possibly creating bump-steer.....

But, with the car sat at its normal road going trim ride height that steering arm is near as makes no difference horizontal, so any movement, up or down should make the wheel toe in.... but whether it'd be enough to notice I don't know
Nick
But that also assumes, the springs, shocks and anti roll bar are doing nothing, and, as you pointed out, I probably wouldn't know.

Yes, if the steering arm is horizontal then any differantial arc vs the suspension would be at it's minimum. What worried me was what I measured on my Taimar, presuming the suspension arms would be horizontal...
For that scenario there might be more bump steer, so I looked at repositioning my steering arm to be more sympathetic overall. I'll know when I have it finished, eta ~2025 currently
cheers

The thread you reference imho has a slightly inaccuracy; I sourced a shortened steering arm from Rimmer Bros that has the same taper as my Taimar original steering arm - I'd have to look up the part number on the receipt, if I could find it....Here you go -
