Hi Simon,
Thanks for that, I could do with someone with the S2/3 badge on too, so that I can work that position out, from the images on the net, I need to mount my plate and then do a bit of guess work, and drop it under the Vixen badge, BUT, as I am going to drill holes to mount them I need maybe need a little help.

I am looking for a image of a Vixen S4 badge...now that I am looking for my position of the S3 badge, I can see an S4 badge out there.

This was my S2. I don't know if it is in its Original position though.
just seen this thread, here some pictures with badges,
S3
another s3
and another s3
a S3 and a S2 with badges
another s3
S4
S2 (have more but just did a quick search and most look the same)
from the S1 I only saw some normal vixen badge, but I guess those were put later on, and one
that had it fully written on, I mean different, see>>

This is the end result on S/S plates ...and from picture they do not 'look' level, but they are
Marc, is the S4 yours to take a measurement of the badge.

I assume one is drinking water and the other waste !!
with badges Its best to actually set them not level so they look level rather than set them level so they aren't
Or just fit one side then they always look even, though Odd.

Adrian,
Here's a rather scruffy sketch I did a while back. It has all the measurements in mm. I did this partly thinking that I might have to get replacement badges made up if I ever got the car resprayed. Are you planning do get the S4 badge done and do you already stock the 'Vixen' and 'TVR' badges?

Hi Adrian
I dug out the photo album of the restoration of obh 62l (finished May 1993). The badges appear to have been in the same position as they are now pre-restoration. Although the S4 badge is missing in the photos there is a clear impression on the paintwork of a missing badge. The S4 badge might have been removed at this stage of the restoration for later re-use or for that matter it might have been replaced with a new badge.
Among the collection of photos in the album are some pictures of another Vixen S4 registration PWW 6K (black or dark green). The S4 badge is centered directly under the Vixen badge and butted up against it. This car is in a fairly poor state so the badge placement may be original. Perhaps there was no set position for the S4 badges. I guess Ian Bannister might be able to help more....

Hello Adrian,
I need them to install on my vixen when finished, one s4 badge is available for free if you want it but is old and not perfect... some défaults on the pic can be seen and I think they must be glued because the self adhésive face is old also!!
Let me know if interested and I can send it.
