hi all,
again it took some time, but as promised last summer the sparto indicator and reverse light boots will be ready shortly. the prototype was delivered yesterday coming from a newly made aluminium extrusion mould. the boot is made from 2K polyurethane and is an exact copy from an unspoiled original that randy hartigan sent me last year. the boots are made one by one by hand and take about one day to cure properly. so please expect some delivery time if ordered in numbers smile
no idea yet of what the final price per unit will be: still have to calculate on that.
i also have had all types of sparto lenses remanufactured (amber, clear, red less and with reflector). i think the bulb holder plate is not so hard to copy, leaving only the chrome rings to be reproduced if needed. i have included some photos to you give an impression of the finished item. would like to hear your comments.
i now have plans of remaking early and late front indicator/sidelight lenses for the M-series cars. please share your opinions on this subject.
cheers, geert van hout, netherlands.

These look fantastic, and if I didn't already have a new set on my car, I would certainly be in touch with you.

I bought them back in the late eighties, having spotted them at a large auto-jumble in Newark, and knowing that one day my Tuscan would be restored.

They came in a Landrover box clearly marked up with all the correct numbers, but unfortunately I have since mislaid the box.

I believe there was a production problem with these repro's.

I would be interested if there has been some progress on these as I still need some.

Hopefully when they're ready, they'll be much cheaper than these that sold on Ebay a few days ago.

The last I heard about the rubber boots was about a year
ago but they were going to cost something like 80 euros a piece making
the ebay sale you are referring to a bit of a bargain...

If anyone has one of these Sparto rubber boots available or for sale, let me know,
I could and can get a batch of them made.

Are they really so much different to these???

You can mould a Lifelike penis with a latex kit for about a tenner these days!! Why the hell anyone would be stupid enough to pay a small fortune for an easily made rubber boot is beyond me???

Of course, I know and that depends on the size of your penis, sometimes a tenner just won´t do itsmile
I also agree, never said I thought theý were a bargain. I just need four of them.
The Lucas ones are not the same size, they´re smaller so I guess there´s a reason
the Sparto stuff sells quite well and quickly on ebay and other auction sites.
I want the sparto ones, thats all.
