I talked to the chap selling it at the Stamford show. Being at the show in the only pre-80's car I had 2 people come and ask me if I knew about the 3000S that was parked up. Shortly after a chap asked me if I knew where he could get bumpers for a 3000S.

That was just before it was advertised. I'm sure one of the regulars here will know what happened.

Hi,

As mentioned in another tread, I also would like to know.

I have spoken several time to the people involved in selling the car (seller and friend).
Even got some extra pictures and was still interested.
Told them I wanted to buy the car and the price was alright to me.
But in one way or another I did not get my fingers behind it.

Holland to England was to far for just popping by.

Next time better.

I was told the car was Bronze colour originally then it was painted black. The seller to me was very correct and spoke about the things to do on the car. In the end i backed out from buying it as it was a very big job and not for the faint hearted.
I like classic cars and have just finished rebuilding a 1975 TVR 1600M.
Well maybe the new owner will come along and give us un update on whats happening to it

I'm guessing you didn't stumble across it like I did in Stamford then!

I'm not so sure it's the same Black 3000S now because the 3000S at Stamford had not moved for many years.
The Black 3000S at Auckland has recent MOT tests on DVLA records.
