Smoke and parts (3000m)
Discussion
Guys, looking for a bit of advice- At about 70-80mph I noticed a fair amount of white smoke (motorway driving), does not smoke at any other time, i.e. I do a lot of lane driving and always reving it hard but tend to only get up to 60ish. any ideas??
I have also had a light coming together with a wall and in need of a replacement front drivers bumber- cash waiting if anybody has one???
Thanks
Alex

The only time I've had white smoke coming from the exhaust was when my brake servo diaphragm had split causing brake fluid to be drawn into the inlet manifold so I would check your brake fluid level.
Another possibility could be water getting in from either a leaking head gasket or inlet manifold gasket. The inlet manifold bolts are prone to coming loose and worth checking by re-torqueing them. When I checked mine after I had bought my 3000S 3 of them were very loose. Keep an eye on your water level to see if this is the problem.
I have got a spare black rubber bumper (they are all identical) but the metal part has corroded so much that the rubber has split on the inside and so a new metal peice would need to be fabricated and the bonded/stitched in so it would involve quite a bit of work to repair it. If you get desperate for one and want mine let me know.
