Wiper Blades 3000M?

Hi,

The Wiper blades on my 3000M are next to useless, they just sort of smear the water around a bit. What replacement blades do people recommend? Also I'm looking at getting one of those 12V car heaters that plug into the cigar lighter (once I've replaced my rusted old one) so that I can heat the interior and demist the windows before setting off for work, are they any good? and has anyone got any recommendations for these as well?

viewed your car at venny's last week looks nice, is it all sorted now! Iv'e got trico blades on mine, had to hunt them out though over the net (classic car parts,ebay)cost me £7 for the pair.

Hi Glyn,

The car's running a lot better now thanks. I'm waiting for a list from Adrian of the bits that still need attention (sunroof frame is rusted, doors need looking at) but the engine, electrics and cooling are all running great :-)

Do you know what other cars the wiper blades are used for? just so that I can widen my search to see if I can find some hidden under another cars name.

Mine are from a porsche 912 i think? anyway they need to be 13" in length approx.
Don't quote me but i think MGB/Roadster fit!

I took my blades into a local spares shop and they came up with some new ones the same length. They are black though, which i think looks fine on a a car with black bumpers. Older cars with chrome bumpers might look better with all chrome arms. Can you fit the new blades into the existing blade holders?
