3000 M door hinges

Hi,

Probably the first of many 3000 M questions (having just brought one...).

The doors are a bit saggy on their hinges, this seems to be due to free play in the hinges themselves.

Are replacment hinges available and what were they from?

Hinges are Ford Anglia. Best route is to find a local engineering shop and get new pins put into your old hinges. There used to be a company called Winsor Prescision Engineers that advertised in the Car Club mag, but I'm not sure if they still exist.

Adrian Venn of Exactly TVR (www.exactly-tvr.demon.co.uk) does exchange hinges for the M series,

if you don't already know him you should - he is one of THE men to know in 'M' circles.

Thanks for the advice. Regarding Adrian at Exactly-TVR that was my first port of call after picking the car up. He gave it a service and a check over.

No doubt I'll be spending some more money there!
