I asked a Taimar owner, who fitted the Momo boss for a TR6 (part no.7800TRI) for his Momo steering wheel. I would double check, as TVR have always had a habit of fitting whatever happened to be in the parts bin at the time. M series steering diagram: http://www.gisworkshop.com/tvr/steer.html

The steering wheel boss No. quoted by Roy C is for my 1977 Taimar which has the early style steering column. I took the inner part of the steering column with me to Ripspeed to try the boss on to make sure it would fit. I beleive that this steering column is also fitted to the early Triumph Spitfies, GT6's as well as the TR6. The later steering column I beleive to be from a Triumph TR7. Hope this is of some help. Can anyone clarify what Boss (pt. No.) would be required for A/ a Momo wheel or B/ A Mountney "M" type steering wheel? My car is the later type column (wash wipe). Any views would be gratefully appreciated, and indeed any other type of wheels used.
