Seen a nice 3000M locally for 5k GBP, to which Tess (me missus) replied "YUMMY" (hello ...).
I think it's borderline round the 4m mark .... might get it in the garage, but not be able to open the freezer / washing machine !

You might also want to try the TVRCC maillist on egroups.com, or the tvrcc.com website for more info on the length etc. Check it's had a chassis replacement in the past few years, otherwise walk away. Look at the links section in the oily pages for specialists on these older models.

I wouldn't necessarily ignore a car without a chassis replacement - The one on my '76 M was an original one, which Adrian Venn refurbed for me just before christmas, and apart from the outriggers that get all the punishment, it was generally ok. Even getting the work done on the chassis, back up to new standard, wasn't that bad, so i'd look into it further if I were you.
