Obscure question ... how long (ft or m) are 3000M's please ?

Also, what prices do 3000's go for, reasonable to good condition ?

Thanks !
Nev

Hehehe, so we're interested in a TVR are we Nev?

I think they're too long for your garage, unless you kick the Ferrari out of course ;-) I'd like to be proved wrong of course ;-)

My, you DO get round the different boards, dont you Tref ?!?!

Seen a nice 3000M locally for 5k GBP, to which Tess (me missus) replied "YUMMY" (hello ...).

I think it's borderline round the 4m mark .... might get it in the garage, but not be able to open the freezer / washing machine !

Flingers crossed it'll fit!

You might also want to try the TVRCC maillist on egroups.com, or the tvrcc.com website for more info on the length etc. Check it's had a chassis replacement in the past few years, otherwise walk away. Look at the links section in the oily pages for specialists on these older models.

Recommend a call to Adrian Venn at Exactly TVR (Tel/fax 024 7659 6883 or mobile 0795 695 6042), he'll probably know the length and can advise on the things to look out for on M's....

I wouldn't necessarily ignore a car without a chassis replacement - The one on my '76 M was an original one, which Adrian Venn refurbed for me just before christmas, and apart from the outriggers that get all the punishment, it was generally ok. Even getting the work done on the chassis, back up to new standard, wasn't that bad, so i'd look into it further if I were you.

I think I knew what Tref meant ... i.e. the chassis are a weak spot, check it out

Is it time to go home yet, and if not, why not ?!? ..... sigh ..... I hate mondays .....
