Brake upgrade on 1971 tuscan V6

Should the princess 4 pot calipers fit the above as I have purchased a pair spent loads of money having them refurbished and cannot get them to fit, centres are approx 1/4 inch out. Should have checked first, silly me.Any ideas

I recall reading somewhere that they are nearly an exact fit, but not quite.
