Bad Vixen AC Fuel Gauge
Discussion
The thing that is special about the AC gauge is it matches all the others but more importantly it is compatible with you tank sender unit. All gauges dont work with all senders. I will try and sort you when out when I can walk well enough to climb in the loft of the workshop.
For those not on the pre 1980 discussion group I am about to have a massive (OK! big) clearout of rare and interesting TVR parts from Jomar to Cerbera , mainly classics including a few rare cars, 289 engine/box and lots of hard to find parts. Probably on ebay but may list some on classifieds on here.

Old topic; same question. Mine reads more than full, never worked in the past dough, but starts like to fix it.
First suspect is bad earth connection of the sender. Checkt with direct earth wire, but this did not work. Next step is to check the gauge and sender unit. I can't find the sender resistance on the web. is it 0 - 90 ohm?
On the back of the gauge there are two connections, one is postive feed from ignition and one is the sender unit, is it wired up correctly?
Cheers
