Which kit for the taller gentleman?
Discussion
I've had a Westfield SE for nearly a year and am getting a bit fed up with it because the lack of room in it stops me being in complete control just when I need to be.
Basically my clutch leg gets in the way of the gearstick and mainly the wheel (and my hand on the wheel) when I'm changing gear through the corners.
I can move the gearstick or get an appropriate extension and I can see that I can possibly raise the steering wheel a bit but as it's at the perfect height now I'm loathed to move it. There's no room for the seat to go back or the pedals to go forward so I'm a bit stuffed.
Anyway, it's worth about (draws in breath between teeth) £5500 (see profile for details if you're interested) and I'd like to buy something along the same lines with the money I get for it. What would you recommend (other than the obvious widebody which is outside my budget)?
Is there any more room in a striker than a westfield se?
Thanks,
Mark

The Dax Rush ( www.daxcars.co.uk/ )is supposed to be pretty roomy (in comparison to a standard bodies westy anyway) and is well made.
The Luego Viento ( www.luegosportscars.com ) is huge, but nearly as pretty as a more conventionaly sized seven.

I sense an airstrip blast a comin' If it's a slanty Lotus 4 pot,it'll weigh a ton. That gives me 400kg advantage for the complete car already!!!!!!!
