And you would invest your hard-earned money on a company thats not prepared to spend probably 20 quid hosting their domain and web site properly?
Its currently hosted on a free web server, using the mega cheap dns registration that includes the uk2 banner.
Total investment - probably 50p.
The email address is at hotmail, it appears that the couldn't even be bothered to configure the FREE email forwarding that you get with said cheapo dns registration.
Its a bit like getting your business cards made for a £1 at one of those kiosks at the train station or printing your flyers on bog roll.
Sorry to winge, but first impressions count.

Latest update:
I'll try to get the attatched picture up on the web tonight as it shows their rather interesting exhaust arrangement. The manifold leads forwards to a silencer placed in front of the engine and exits at the side.

Toniq-R concept first unveiled at the University of Huddersfield's 3D degree
show back in June 2002. I'll be sending you this email to keep you informed

Dear Toniq Fans,
Motorshow 2004
Just to remind you that the Toniq will not be at this years International
motorshow and will be fully unveiled at as a finished car at the
International Kit Car Show at Donington Park on the 3 & 4th September 2004.
This is a disappointment but getting the first runner has always been our
number 1 priority. The images of the exhaust are the main aim of the work
this week, but we have also looked at the lighting too, finding 2" HELLA
units for the rear of the car and 3" beams for the front.
Attached image:
This shows the Merc SLR inspirational side exhausts and the fitment of our
new custom made stainless steel exhaust, all fitting neatly under the
bonnet. We have been able to do this because the motorbike engine is so much
more compact than a traditional car engine, freeing up space for an exhaust
running infront of the engine and out the drivers side. Heat dissipation
will be taken care of by channeling the air from the nose past the exhaust
and out of air holes that will be in the top of the nose and on the side of
the body where needed. The underside of the car will also not be enclosed,
as it is on some racing cars, which will further aid cooling. The body is
currently being fitted with the main body on 1st, then the bulkhead, quick
release nose & bonnet.
Still to look out for:
Daily Telegraph Motoring Section (out on Saturdays). I will inform you in
advance when I know this article will be printed.

Here's a few comments about the car from a chat page:

I just saw this car:

on this website:

pretty interesting alternative to a Caterham 7 and 360bhp/ton!! Zoiks!

Ugly as sin IMO, but damned if I can't think of a better sports car!
------
crayzayjay
Better looking than a Caterham IMO. At least it moves the game on a bit

Well, it is clearly an extension of the Lotus Super 7 that was introduced
about 50 years ago.
Still, I think it looks good (really, how much styling freedom in such a
small light car?). Although, fully enveloping bodywork would greatly
increase top speed, even if it would lower the acceleration and handling
potential.
But it is made for acceleration and handling, and it is amazing at doing
just that. After all, it weighs about 1000lbs with a 180hp motorcycle
engine. It says the kit is 4000 pounds, does that include the engine? If so,
that is an amazing deal, and would be the greatest kit car ever, IMO.
I want one

With these types of cars, what you lose on the straight, you more than make
up on the corners

Chris
YEah, and acceleration and handling are much more fun than top speed, IMO.

Like all racers (and turbo nutters ) say, straights are no fun. Its going
through the turns as fast as possible that's the real rush. Thats why i see
things like drag racing and obsession with 1/4 mile times as a bit of a
joke. No wait, not a bit of a joke, a complete joke.
cheers,
jay

I think drag racing is about bragging rights... not that thats a bad thing
mind you, you can brag because you have a faster car, or you can brag that
you're a better driver, even if you lose...
I prefer sports car racing This weekend on Speed, I watched a touring car
race, and a spectacular GT race at Road Atlanta(even though they were a
couple weeks old) where Peter Cunningham simply outdrove everyone else and
won both races(first in an Integra, then in a supercharged NSX) over much
more powerful cars. Then again, it was Road Atlanta, which emphasis handling
over power, and the big straightaway is immediately after a tricky highspeed
corner, so you can make up for a lack of power if you can corner well.
Anyhoo, the S7 design will remain classic, no matter who makes it, or what
it looks like. Maybe one of these days I'll have enough spare time to build
a S7 kit
