Advice Required.

I drive a CC Cyclone and my rear tyres are on their way out. Can anybody advise on preferred tyre choices?
I fitted Falken 502 when I built the car. They are okay, but not fantastic in the dry and interesting in the wet. However they gave me a lot of confidence as they gave plenty of warning before breakaway. Also when they did let go they did so quite progressively.

I am looking for tyres that will give better grip in both wet and dry conditions. As this car is used daily with the occasional track days thrown in for good measure.
All comments are welcome.

PS:
CC Cyclone - Mid Engine weighs approx. 700kg. Powered by Vauxhall producing about 120ish BHP.

Dear Mido,I don't have any info on tyres but I'm a Cyclone lover and want to own one.
Do you have contact with the new owners?
How is it to drive a cyclone?
How is the roadholding?

My preferred choice has been Bridgestone SO2s, they're very good in the dry and excel in the wet.

I've also been advised to try Goodyear Eagle F1s, but haven't done so yet...

I've been running Eagles for a year on my Caterham. I've found them to be pretty good in the dry, but scary in the wet (probably just my driving )
Currently in the process of switching to Yoko 032's...even scarier in the wet......yeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaa

Bought a cyclone myself about a month ago Dead chuffed with it. It is on Falken tyres and I find em not bad, A darn site better grip wise than previous Westfield on Goodyears, But then again it is a totally different handling car. Both cars XE redtop engine. Brian.
PS any Cyclone drivers out there with views on brake improvements?

Hi Cyclone,
A quality well finished cyclone will cost around £7-9K. ( they cost much more to build).
No, but then who are LGE. (I'm guessing they are the present owners/owner of the project).I understand something went wrong within the partnership that was going to take over the cyclone proj!
0-60, judging it by the previous Westfield I owned that had the same engine but 10bhp more, and minus 50kilo, this did 0-60 in 4.6 proven. I know the Cyclone will be 5 sec or under.
Roadholding- I can now use the power of this engine with confidence, puts the rubber down very well, good in the wet, can use 1st and 2nd gear, and if it starts to get away its just off the loud pedal.
Pictures- sorry no can do- technophobic, but mines like all the others but silver.
All the best with the dream, it is worth pursueing.
Brian.
