Just noticed that Tiger have revamped their website. It's much improved, although only time will tell if they manage to keep it up-to-date (unlike their previous attempt).

Their business is cars and kits not websites.

Websites are kept up to date if someone is paid to do it otherwise other aspects of the business take priority. If they get a lot of business via the seb there will be an incentive to put the effort in.

I think that's a rather short sighted viewpoint in todays market. I don't believe that there are any kit car purchasers that don't do a fair amount of research on the web. If a kit company's site doesn't give up to date information and prices, they may well lose out on a sale. And just because someone doesn't email their order to the factory doesn't meant that the site hasn't been instrumental in the decision making process.

Not that I'm biased in any way by being a web developer...

Questions why they bothered updating it then?
Or why they even started putting info on the site that would date. Maybe they're better off with a "point of presence" generic advertising website.

In particular I'm refering to things such as having a Cars for Sale section where the cars on it never changed in the 2 years I visited the site.

When I got my kit from tiger, the price was £200 above the website price.
I got it anyway, but asked for some freebies!!.
I think it does promote a level of unprofessionalism from the company to have an out-of-date site.

Plush with a small bit of savvy the price list could easily be maintained on something like access or a MYSQL database and just uploaded when the prices change. It is not rocket science.
