Does anyone know a place where I can get a set of wire wheels refurbished prefferably in the leicester area?

Hi Andy,

Taking a look through the ads in the classic car mags should give you some leads.

You might even find a suitable company exhibiting at Stoneleigh over the weekend.

Thanks graham, BTW does £50 seem ok for a set of 4 with one hub missing

No idea to be honest - guess it rather depends on cost of refurbishment compared to new ones. Again, a look in the small ads in the classics mags might provide a clue as to typical prices for used examples.

£50 seems OK, so long as you don't have to replace a load of spokes, if you want to know how to "true" your wheels andy then send me a PM.

I had the wire wheels on my other half's MGB Roadster refurbished about 18 months ago - and for around £5 per wheel more, I could have purchased new ones from the MGOC.
So carry out plenty of research before committing to a refurb..
Best of luck
