Does anyone know where I can get one of those 90 degree drill chucks that were mentioned in Which Kit a couple of months ago - it's an adapter thing that allows the drillbit to be mounted at 90 degrees.

I emailed Which Kit (as they said it costs about £30 but didn't tell you where it could be bought from) but didn't get any reply. I've tried the usual places (Machine Mart, B&Q, Toolstation etc..)

Also, I want to get some black sticky plastic to make some decals for my Tiger, but I can't find anywhere that sells it, unless you want carbon fibre effect, which I don't.

Sorry about the lack of a reply - that might have been my fault! I have a feeling Car Builder Solutions stock them. Call 01580 891309 or www.nfauto.co.uk

If not, let me know on PH and I'll do some more searching! (Unless anyone else knows?).

Adam.

Thanks for the help - unfortunately I can't find it listed on CBSs site - I've ordered some items from them in the past and I've got a catalogue at home, so I'm sure I would have spotted it if it was there.

If you can find out where they are available from it would be very helpful - as more and more pieces of the car are fixed in their final places it's getting harder to get the drill into the required positions for the various rivets.

Don't know whether you have an air supply or not?

I find the best drill for tight spaces is a 90 deg air drill (£60 odd) as it is much smaller and thinner than either an electricone or an adapter.

also the right angle attachments can end up spinning is they are not used correctly and have a violent torque reaction if they snag

I bought a flexible drive shaft for my drill, it doesn't bend to the same effective radius as a right angle drill but is good for threading through things into small spaces.

I have this same adaptor which I bought from Northern Tool UK for about the same price but cannot find it listed on their web site now.

It works well and from the pic in Which Kit? appears to be shorter in length from nose of chuck to back of gearbox.

Try one of these Vinyl signwriters for the sticky plastic, or get them to do the decals!! I have a bloke down the road from me who I can scrounge from if you don't want a load of it. He did a badge for my Libra for nothing....

Just spotted that I'd missed a load of replies to my question, so thanks to all - the drill from that website looks like the sort of thing I'm after.

Cheers
