Sook,
Firstly I'll admit that I'm a little biased - that's my friend Adrians car for sale. But it is a lovely little car, and very well engineered/built. There aren't many of them about but (Tim) Pell does still exist and will actively support the cars, give him a call for a chat.
Adrian is selling because he is building another Genesis, this time to go racing with. The build diary you have read is probably Adrians, and you can find it, more pictures, and the diary for the racer at www.pellgenesis.com.
As you are local I'm sure you would be welcomed to look at the car, and Adrian will gladly talk to you about it until you fall asleep

Cant supply you with a build diary but as an owner of one for 2 years i cant recommend the Pell enough.
The only downside has been the lack of any roof, although i am nearly there making my own and that it is too heavy for a bike engine (675Kgs). Mine is currently powered by a 170bhp ZZR1100 engine and while good on a track just lacks torque for road use.
The one for sale is good buy and with only 7 on the road you can be sure of getting noticed.
As for building one contact Tim Pell, very helpful and all round nice chap.
