Off topic....I was in the paddock at Silverstone many moons ago with my 'Bentley racing' father-in-law when we came across XP4, the F1 prototype. We mingled with the crowd around it and as I looked in the engine bay I turned to my father-in-law and said,
"It's a lovely car isn't it?"
My father-in-law, however, had been delayed looking at the interior and I found myself speaking directly to Gordon Murray in a McLaren Cars t-shirt.
"Yes it is, isn't it", he said.
