Cheshire Kit Car Show

Does anyone know if this is any good? Is it worth going along to? Just wondering as it seems to be the next kit show near to me and seeing as it was my other half who pointed it out to me she might just give me a 'day pass' to go along...
I go every year.....
It is held at Capesthorne Hall, (which is worth going round itself if you fancy a nice day out)near Alderley Edge/Wilmslow...
Last year was spoiled by heavy rain, but still a good turn out, not a big show, around 200 cars, all outdoors with some marquees selling tools etc, but enough nice machinery there to spend three or four interesting hours looking round.....
Last year I met Fibs on the WK? stand who spent most of the time slagging Den off, but of course I took no notice
So I would say YES, definitely give it a go, you won't regret it...

when is it as its fairly local to me nice roads up to Chester then M53
Sunday May 23rd, or so it says on the venue website at www.capesthorne.com/forthcoming.html
Right, guess I'll have to make my way along then! Hopefully I should have some form of personal transport by then, even if it isn't anything interesting...

Its not far from me so I could well be heading along.
Never been to a show before, are they a good place to acquire tools and the like? Not that I'll be needing them for a while, first house has well and truely wiped out D-man's kit car fund... Oh well, at least I have a garage now
There are tool stands there, but not THAT many, best shows for those locally (imo) are Stafford (excellent) (Just gone), Stoneleigh (The daddy of Kit car shows), Newark and Donington...
Having said that, if it is a nice sunny day the Cheshire show is hard to beat, PLUS I would set aside an hour or two for having a look round Capesthorne Hall itself....
