Hi everybody!, Im new on here , and wondered if any knows where i can get a Bantham x99, which is on the road and ready to go? Also is there anything i should know about these cars, pitfalls, ones to go for etc... all info and help welcome. Ive seen one on ebay for £2000 but its not sva'd an then theres one in Belfast but he wants £5000 for it and its got faults! Ive been on the Banham website and they will do all the work and provide a donor car for less than £5000 all u need to do is put the doors on! Is this the best route?
Regards to all, Bobby.

Didnt expect to find me here did you?

Faults as discussed are the bonnet needs resprayed, a temperature sensor and a couple of electrical niggles. You'll learn that for a Banham that's pretty close to perfect. As for the price like I said before I'm in no hurry to sell. Just looking to cover my costs. If nobody wants it at that price I'll wait a couple of years and let depreciation take its course.

The doors are a nightmare so 5 grand aint a great price for that. Its the doors which will take you the longest to sort. From fitting to getting the windows in.

Having fun in the car again so think I would recommend one but buy complete or near complete rather than trying to build cause its a problem solving nightmare .

The Ebay on would do rightly but always hard to but from a Low Res internet picture. Can make mutton look like Lamb. (Just like my pics!)

Flintstone was thinking about selling his.

Well sorted engine, something like 125bhp from the 1.4.

If he doesn't read this before hand, you should be able to contact him via his profile.

Depends where you live. Most areas now ask for an SVA on newly completed cars. I live in N.Ireland though and they didnt ask. Very few areas in England will let you away without it by the sounds of things on the X21 forum (www.the-x21.com)
