And other expletives.

Hadn't been able to get to the workshop I'd rented to build the kit in for a couple of weeks. Just went down this afternoon to prepare it for the arrival of said kit and do a few bits to the daily driver...

Only to find - no workshop!

Looks like the wind last weekend finally put paid to the rather rotten wood work. Thank goodness the kit wasn't already in there! Oh, or us for that matter

Well, I haven't had a confirmed collection date yet, but it was going to be end of March / beginning of April

Have probably got access to a garage big enough to store things in until we find a workshop at a push, but not ideal. I'm impatient to start as it is.

Are you having everything delivered at once?
How big's the garage?
My clams lived outside for a year while the doors, battery moulding, spare wheel moulding, dash top, beam ends, handbrake cover, interior hard panels, boot, windows, windscreen, splash mouldings and dash binnacle lived in the loft. Now if I'd been able to get the engine and gearbox up that ladder........

Going to Stoneleigh?

The garage is standard single garage sized, less a few boxes. Storage can probably be sorted, even though I am getting everything at once, well, bar the engine. I just need to find somewhere to actually build the thing now. As for storing things in the house / loft - the loft in this tiny little place is actually the living room and kitchen. The second bedroom is currently my office and contains the tool chest and the rest I bought last month! I think if I start building the car in the house I may be in trouble

Stoneleigh - yep, will be going along. All being well, will be working flat out on the car so will probably only make it up for one day of the weekend and spend the other working on the car.

Hi
Just a thought!
I have a garage 13' X 30' with 3ph electric which is seldom used. It is too far from home for me to use regulary and I have been wondering what to do with it.
I am currently using it for storage which seems a waste, would anyone be interested in short lets for kit building? It is 8 miles south of Gloucester.

It'd be great for me too, but I'm in Germany. Have you got teleport facilities?

Always the way.....

Management can usually find a million "more useful" things to spend the money on (like 500 pairs of shoes for example....)

Try Old Trafford football pitch the size of it...
