I got my renewal through from Flux yesterday and they want £365 to insure my Tiger.

Rang around a few places before I got to RoadSure, they quoted me £153 for the same cover, plus it includes RAC breakdown.

Phoned a couple of other insurers since and when they asked what my best quote was they said they had no chance of matching it as it's a really good deal.

Admittedly last year, because it was all last minute, I just rang Flux and took their first quote, this year I shopped around. But that's one hell of a difference.

Excellent deal.... but make sure that they haven't got any "You're covered, but you've no chance of ever getting us to actually pay out in the event of a claim" type statement buried in the tiny, tiny small print.

I've just tried Roadsure, the rep said they specialise in "7's" and the like and could not give me an insured value above £25K.

My quote was £978 for a limited 5k a year

I have My Aeon though Osbourne n sons (link-kit) with 6500miles full no claims at a value of parts (15k)fully comp. for £250 . I asked what difference it would make if it were valued at the manufacturers price with labour i.e £20k It was over £600. He said that most policies premiums increase dramatically once you start asking for insurance over £15k and again over £20k.

Adrian Flux £420, Roadsure £162 for a Tiger Supercat E1, fully comp, no problem deciding where to go there.

My problem though is that it appears neither will insure my 20year old son, not even TPFT.

Any guidance on who might offer insurance for a young lad, at not silly prices ?

Try MSM insurance, I'm 18 and was quoted £1800 on my 1600X-Flow............just need to find £1800 and get the damed thing running.

Need to check back with them actually I got that quote last year.

Thanks for the advice guys !

Couldn't get the young lad included but £141 fully comp, 3000miles and £100 excess from Sureterm Direct, sounds like a result to me.

Thanks Again
