Desperately need a couple of these fittings for the weekend - a -12 male:male and -16 male:male for part of our oil system.

Anyone know of a shop in the Surrey area which might have 'em? We've tried Demon Tweeks for next day delivery but they're out of stock

Hoping to get the engine started!!

Hows the build coming along Futie?

Only places I can think of that might have it are A.R.E. in Farnham, Camberley Auto Factors or a place in Bracknell which I've forgotten the name of

HTH, good luck,

Graham

I've just ordered some bits from them, only just found out about them, don't think parcel force do Sunday deliveries do they? ThinkAuto do 24hr delivery though.

They're open on Saturday until 12 and they're only Twickenham/Chiswick way so not TOO far.

Thanks very much for the help, chaps. I think we've managed to find some for delivery tomorrow!

Ok, thanks - been a real challenge, and there's loads more to do still - we powered up the ignition last weekend and tried to get various bits working. Minor problem was that Westfield seem to have wired up some of the relay sockets incorrectly! Still, that was easily fixed.
Hopefully we'll try for an engine start this Sunday - need to connect up oil system first and fill with fluids. I have absolutely no idea what will happen - can't make up my mind whether it'll start first time, or we'll spend weeks and weeks trying to fathom out why it won't start .. time will tell I guess!
Having a bit of a problem finding wheels for the XTR, though, seems that there aren't many with the right offset and the ones we'd settled on (can't remember their name) are difficult to get hold of. I keep suggesting a nice set of 22" chromed 'spinner' wheels, but for some reason Rob doesn't fancy them ..

Blimey, I thought you were expecting the wheels February time (the bloke who won my ebay auction doesn't seem to want mine anymore as I've not heard from him since last year).

I'll have to pop over to Rob's sometime and have a look at the car, I couldn't make it last time he asked if I wanted to have a look, health wasn't brilliant.

Good luck for Sunday though, hope you get the oil bits.

How about 3-piece modular wheels from Image or Compomotive? Get pretty much any offset you want with those.
