Just been reading KC mag. Like the Idea of these advertorials. Will they carry on after robin hood on other manufacturers like Tiger etc

[tongue in cheek] had to check address on the robin hood website just to make sure there was no vestsed interest [tongue out of cheek]

Interesting to see that robin hood were the first company to be featured in an advertorial, as historically they haven't been very big on media coverage / car reviews....they so often just get a review that says "not really a caterham etc, etc", when that is totally missing the point of Robin Hood.

This method of advertising tends to be very good for a business as many people read it as an editorial feature.

Something about editorial being worth many more times an advert. Not just because it is normally free, but also because people take more notice of what is written.

A clever bit of advertising in which Robin Hood have made everyone aware of their range and many people will want to contact them to find out more.

IMO I would guarantee this was not one of Den's "freebies"

Agreed. advertorials always seem to carry more "clout" than a standard advert.

We know that they are adverts, but still pay more attention than we would if it was "just" an advert.

Have you noticed that Robin Hood haven’t been advertising in any of the kit car magazines for over a year?

This is the start of a campaign. I’ll not give all the detail (you never know who might be listening ) but there’ll be something in the next issue and something really, really big in the issue after that.

Matt is right in saying that Robin Hood get fed up being compared with other products costing far more. That’s why they’ve elected for advertorial.

I’d add that Kit Car would not run any advertorial (or editorial or advert for that matter) that it felt was misleading.
