Hi guys,

I've got my heart set on a Westfield Seight. First approach is to look for a second hand one but if that doesn't prove fruitful I want to try and build one from the modules that Westfield do - doesn't seem too expensive that way and I don't have the space to strip a donor car.

First question - has anyone done this? is it feasible for an average tinkerer to do?

Second - does anyone know what kind of waiting time there would be from westfield for 5 of the 6 modules? I don't want module 6 as I can supply an engine (for a bit less than 9k too!)

Cheers guys

Dom

Yes you can do it, I did after spending months looking for a suitable used car, I was self employed and working 6 days a week at the time but I managed it (and in a single garage). if you can read and use a spanner/socket set you will have no problem. Join the WSCC (westfield sports car club) fantastic club, thousands of members who will answer any question you have (great web site too, WSCC.co.uk - the boardroom is particularly good)

Westfield usually take between 4 -8 weeks to supply kits, dependent on how busy they are obviously
