I believe they are the company behind www.sportspowerdrive.com/. But what of the other kits?

Looks like the recent news article they sent me was a load of old tripe then

I'm really not quite sure what's going on.
There're a few bits on their site about the rally modifications.
But then there are also the Cobra replica and the 7. What's happening to them? Or are they just not selling and so being binned...?
All seems rather odd. But still, anybody with the right mindset could have picked up the moulds and tooling to build Lamborghini and Ford RS200 replicas over the past week or two.

wonder what's happened to their 7 replica?

Makes me laugh one seven manufacturer suing another! Isn't that just a little ironic?!
In my fantasy world I'd love to pick up something like this on the cheap and launch into a new career, however in this instance, I'm not really sure the world actually needs another Seven - there are so many good ones already.

He wanted £35k for the RS200 rep.
Apparently he had one offer (off Ebay) but turned the guy down as he didn't think he was the right man to build it. (This is only what I have heard)
I nearly put in an offer but it wouldn't have been close enough to his asking price.
I wonder why he was able to sell the Snake so easily yet can't sell the other 2 cars.

I noticed the SPD200 demo car is visible up on ramps in the background of the current RS Jigtec adverts...maybe they got the whole lot?
MK do seem (rightly) precious about a design they built for Ron Champion (and have since changed), they did this with Mac1 if I'm not mistaken, but that's water under the bridge and I won't even go there.
All that I will say is imagine being a kitcar company (no one in particular) that sued people who infringed your chassis...but then You registered your demonstrator as a rebodied Dutton just to get you round the SVA! Shocking! wouldn't happen, would it? may be.. but my lips are sealed.

Ok, so a RS200 or & replica not your cup of tea, well how about this!

If one person bought all these projects/businesses as they came up, then I think you'd have a model for everyone, perhaps capture a big chunk of the market?

The problem with all these companies is how much they are apparently worth.
Blackjack are being re-advertised at £40k.
Most of these are not ongoing concerns but projects that have either yet to prove themselves or established products that are now not selling in the right numbers to gain enough profit as a stand alone business.
How much is an ongoing business worth compared to its turnover and Gross Profit?

Is that a plan then peetbee
If I were to get a suitable lottery win then I think I could be persuaded to change my day job, not sure I'd want to build 3 wheelers though!
I agree with Ex-Biker though, these projects seem to come with a rather high price tag. I wonder how many years of trading it would take before they would have paid for themselves?
