Pretty sure it's a Carlton Carrera. Going back a bit, and I can't remember what it was based on (Mk 4/5 Cortina?) with various engine options possible. I've seen a red one around in my town (Ipswich), a runner until recently, and there is one laid up not far from Snetterton, which I have never seen running. Looks like quite a nice car in the flesh (er, plastic) though rather dated. I agree wiht the 260Z2+2 comparison. If the kit isn't too skanky, it might be worth it if the numbers are right, but spares might be a bit of an issue. Good luck, dude.
