EBay seller claims:
A BEETLE BASED CAR DESIGNED TO LOOK LIKE THE LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH

Er, I thought it predated the Countach....either way Richard Oakes wouldn't be pleased to hear it described that way!!!

I think the seller's comment about 'I know very little about this particular kit' pretty much says it all...

If someone were feeling suitably insane to think about purchasing this, does anyone have any comments about things to check. Or for that matter, know of any contact details for Richard Oakes?

The owners clubs would be your best source of info, and there are two:

Club Nova & Avante, www.priceofhistoys.com/clubnova

Nova International, www.nova-international.net

Might be able to get contact details for Richard Oakes if you really needed them.

I've heard of people buying whole projects just for the windscreen, so that's something to check considering this one's is broken!

Forgot to say, I think Richard Oakes owns that old style 3 wheeler based on the 2CV (Blackjack Avion?).
He was involved in the GTM Libra too so I'm sure he would be fairly easy to track down.

I knew I recognised the name. Thanks Rich.
