Being a Filby admirer (only cos his knowledge of kits and specials is sooooooo much better) I don't have much time for all the in-fighting. However, picking up Kit Car this month and biggest issue ever made me roll up! Half the ruddy mag is Rally Design's catalogue!!!!!!!!!

I’m hoping that publishing the RD catalogue will be an annual event. However, next time I’ll not play so heavily on the “260 page value” aspect. It’s inclusion did make this month’s issue the biggest ever though.

Tell you what – was in my local branch of WH Smiths this afternoon (Churchill Square, Brighton). There were 9 copies of Kit Car and 9 copies of Which Kit? on their shelves. Two weeks ago there were 22 Kit Car and 11 Which Kit? So, it would appear that it’s going down comparatively well!

Yeah, but the branch manager tells me they had to rush in 60 emergency supplies of WK? on Thursday to cope with the demand, so really they have sold 62 copies.............
