Anyone after a Ginetta or Trackday / race car?
Discussion
Hi, if anyone is after a racecar / trackday car or out and out road car, then please look at my advert for my Ginetta G27 racer in the classifieds.
My wife and I are expecting our first child so I will have no time / space / money for a single seater race winning kitcar
I could of course argue that we will now need a 3 seater Aeon 430 though

I guess this means the end of the articles in KC mag then
Not exactly Andy, there's numerous other reason stopping me from finding time to write as it is
To be honest, I've got a couple of pieces that just need finishing touches, and I'll happily give Den my opinion on the DAX's around a track, (wether he asks for it or not ) I also aren't exactly turning my back on cars, selling the Ginetta will give me money to pay for nappies, but time to finish my Metro 6R4 replica.....and no, it isn't a MG metro with a body kit. I also have an old BMW 325i just begging to be a donor car.

I seem to remember something about a 6R4. Was it yours? Have you got a website?
I doubt it..mines actually a 6R2, and is the only car to have ever frightened me (and I've been in the twin engined tigers), but no it's not because of the performance, it's the handling - it's terrifying, or at least it was when I got it (then again so was the sylva mojo demonstrator, and I still bought one). When will I learn?

Matt, What is the 6R2 like? Is it Renault engined, I had a mate who ran a grasstrack Metro with one in??
Hi Ferg, wow, I'm really glad you've put a link to your site- that looks great. My lowly 6r2 has indeed got a renault v6 turbo engine (alpine 610)...The rest of the car , well, lets just say that it was bought with my heart, it's been very well done at some point in it's life, having been converted to ford hubs, uprights, brakes etc. But now it needs a "freshen". Obviously it will never be the real deal, and I'm not going to try and get every detail, but if it captures the image I'll be very happy.
