Feeling a little 'empty' today!

After 4 years battling against new jobs, house purchases, marriages (and wedding costs) and an ever extending family my much loved and unfinished SSC Stylus got sold last night. The lock up garage is now sitting pretty much empty apart from a large amount of tools and bits and pieces....

This is the first time in 7 years that i have been without a kit car and I am gutted....seriously gutted.

What will my head be full of now that I can't think of suspension mods, colour choices, engine choices, which track day to do, what car to take to Le Mans next year...... I suppose my only consolation is that i can now plan another a Sylva (Raw) Striker or an Elise as an everyday car!

Seriously grey day today....

Looked at the pic of your car on your profile. Was VERY nice.

My sympathies too.

Not being able to see a project like that through to completion must the worst thing.

Sacrificing the "boys toys" for growing up expenses isn't an easy thing to do.

If you end up in a sort of similar situation say next spring, I'll be probably be letting go of my Fury (black Zetec 2000) about then. Not really wanting to do this myself but ended up with a bike now and two "toys" is getting silly.
