From www.dynamic-performance.co.uk

We have decided the first Attack version to be launched in the U.K, shall use Ford components. This allows us to supply the demand for both turnkey and donor built Attacks. The turnkey engine options will be a 4 cylinder 2.0l or 2.3l and a 3.0l V6; these engines all come from Fords impressive Duratec range. These changes mean the Attack donor will now be a Ford Mondeo (including 2.5V6 and 3.0V6).
We expect to launch the RHD version at the end of December 2003/early January 2004. We will inform everybody the launch date and venue nearer the time.

Kind Regards

Mark Turner
Dynamic Performance Ltd

Still no mention of UK prices. Interesting that they've decided to change the donor vehicle from the Accord to the Mundaneo.

I guess the development they've been doing explains the delay in announcing a price.

I'll be most interested to see how their customer service turns out when they actually get round to launching it in the UK.

My personal feelings are that they've handled the whole sorry event very poorly and it doesn't instill me with confidence as to the quality of service customers can accept. Hence my money's most definitely going elsewhere. At least until they have proven me wrong.

I'm with LexSport on this one..... The car looks great, but I'd want a few "satisfied customer" testamonials before parting with any wedge....

Agreed on that count It'll be about 10 years before I have what I anticitpate to be the neccesary wedge So they should have got themselves sorted by then

Certainly it's wise to see some satisfied customers before parting with your hard-earned, but I think you're being harsh on Dynamic Performance.

Bear in mind that the car is designed as a left hand drive model, with a Honda as the donor car. It can't be easy to adapt this to right hand drive, using Ford parts. I'm just glad they've decided to wait until the kit is right, rather than release some bodged effort early.

That's as maybe. But, the situation with DP is that they announced they'd be launching the car at Donnington. They advertised this in WK? on here and on their website (plus other places no doubt). Not only did they not turn up, but they made very little attempt to tell people they weren't going to be going.

Then they said they'd be at Exeter. They weren't and again didn't make much of an attempt to tell people.

I can understand the level of engineering required to get a RHD version with different drive train up and running, but it's the way they've handled their mis-information that's made me wary of them as a company.

Another example: their website has been claiming prices are coming soon for at least 3 months! Indeed, about that long ago, somebody from DP posted on PH claiming prices would be going up on their website the following day.

Agreed. I had a similar discussion with some other guys. I said it was far better to keep people informed and up date on progress, but shows booked and not attended (for whatever reason) don't convey a good impression.

Also, not showing pricing (even tentative) is a bad move IMO..people want to know..."should I start saving up?..or look elsewhwere?"
