Honest and trustworthy kit manufacturers

Well, I'm getting a tad jaded by all the -ve vibes about the industry coming from certain areas, so thought, with season of goodwill 
almost upon us etc etc howz about some good experiences of kit manufacturers who have not ripped us off or advertised non-products (in dodgy mags) and such like.
For my own part, I've built 3 kits of different types and from manufacturers of varying levels of, shall we say, "professionalism". On each occasion the purchasing, although tough on wallet, has been a pleasure. The people selling these things I have found to be genuinely enthusiastic about their product which makes a pleasant change from buying a regular motor. I have had no quality or financial hassles with them, and, perhaps by not behaving like a tight winging git myself, odds and sods often have been provided FOC. Not to mention instant help and advice during the build.
The kits?
1. A Rotrax (Cortina based) - provided by a nice old chap from down Bath way, I forget his name. Gathered the bits in his shed to be collected, everything there, everything worked.
2. A GD427. Andy B was always super enthusiastic. At that time anyway he was still running a bit of a cottage industry with stuff put together in various sheds around the area although he was shifting a few cars. He welded up a stainless rollover hoop as I waited once, quite handy with a torch. And no problems making a few special bits for me so I could get the Ford engine in, don't think he even charged extra.
3. An Ultima - bit more of a professional outfit here in that they employ more than one person. Nonetheless,have been a pleasure to deal with.
So anyone else never had problems with kit car suppliers or am I unique?

Well regarding Andy Burrows, and Ted Marlow, I think it is fair to say two of "Kit Cars" finest, in what can be sometimes seen as a "cottage" industry, these two gentlemen sit proudly right at the top of the tree.
My only dealings have been with Jim Dudley at Tiger Racing, and Chris Smith at Westfield, no complaints there either, first class products, credit to the industry.
I've only built one kit, a Dax Rush and I can't fault the support and advice I've received from Dax. The kit does what it's supposed to, cost roughly what they said it would and their tolerance with a first timer has been great.
If I could only get them to subsise the turbo conversion . . . um . . .
