Spray painting GRP

Hi

I have a Dax Rush and I am not too keen on the colours (BRG and a yellow nose), how difficult is it to get it sprayed a different colour?.

Could I do it at home in my garage?, (I have a compressor and spray gun) and what sort of prep etc would I have to do?

Any ideas?

Andy , its not too hard , preperation is all important all traces of grease & oil must be removed , spray a base colur light coat ,than remove it with wet 1200 grade , then spray . Its time consuming but not hard .Practice , remove what you can and TAKE YOUR TIME , its 95% preperation .Also practice on some scrap first . Its not as hard as it sounds .
